Portal scope
The customer portal supports pause, resume, skip or unskip, cancel, switching to another saved payment method, and shipping or pickup updates. It does not include product, plan, quantity, or frequency changes, or adding a new card.
Not included
- Customer product, plan, quantity, or frequency changes in the portal, or adding a new card there.
- Subscription boxes or build-a-box flows.
- A separate magic-link portal outside Shopify customer accounts.
- Admin payment-method change for the customer from inside the app.
- Migration or import tooling, CSV export, inventory forecasting, or Klaviyo and other marketing integrations.
- An in-app checkout simulator or charge-now button (test with real Shopify Checkout).
Plan edits under Plans update the selling plan offer. Living contracts are edited under Subscriptions (line, price, quantity, interval).
