Subscription widget

The product-page offer comes from the Subscriptions Widget theme app block in SMART Subscriptions. Add it on your product template, then customize it under Widget with a live preview: texts, colors, spacing, typography, CSS, translations, sale badge, hide one-time purchase, and select subscription by default.
SMART Subscriptions does this with plans, a product-page widget, and a native customer portal.
Try it freePlans alone do not appear on the storefront. Customers need the theme app block on the published product template for products that have an assigned plan.

Setup checklist
- Create and assign a plan under Plans first.
- Open the theme editor for the theme you publish.
- Add the Subscriptions Widget app block to the product template.
- Save and publish the theme.
- Open Widget to edit texts, colors, spacing, typography, CSS, and translations, and check the live preview.
- Optional: turn on Select subscription by default or Hide one-time purchase option. Both apply to every product with a SMART plan. To make one product subscription-only, tick Only sell this product as a subscription on it in Shopify admin instead.
- Hard-refresh the product page and confirm the offer matches the plan.
Block must be on the published theme
Edits in Widget only help if the Subscriptions Widget block is on the live product template. If nothing shows, see Subscription widget not showing.

›Do I need code to add the widget?
No for the standard setup. Add the Subscriptions Widget theme app block on the product template in the theme editor, then save and publish.
›Can I hide one-time purchase?
Yes. Hide one-time purchase option in Widget hides it on every product with a SMART plan. For a single product, tick Only sell this product as a subscription in Shopify admin; the widget then hides one-time purchase for that product.
›Can subscription be selected by default?
Yes. In Widget, you can select the subscription option by default when one-time purchase stays visible.
›What can I customize visually?
Texts, colors, spacing, typography, sale badge and compare-price visibility, optional CSS, and translations under Widget. Option names come from each option's Label in Plans.
